Peril Protection

How to show that we dare to put ourselves on the line, to get in “good trouble”?

Rise, resurge, each day.
“Yes” to life is worth dire risks.
Caring makes us brave.

The risks are real, here,
we must protect each other.
Kindness is regal.

Pertinence, Prevailing

Where are our allies, available to protect and defend the threatened, the treasures, despite the risks?

Safe and sound here now?
At risk of losing peace, home.
Vulnerable, all.

In California,
we love our migrant neighbors.
We know we’re all kin.

“We care about world,”
reads the rally sign they made.
May caring prevail.

Who are our amigos, our accomplices for fair, for care, our engaged and committed mates?

Tikkun olam, find, make peace.
