The I of We, so appreciates the question and their following questions. So important to check in with our hearts, our earthly bodies for "kind, helpful and necessary" wise actions.
And, whole-heartedly, agree, is there anything more truly beautiful and valuable than an open kind, and courageous "coeur"? Yes...more open, kind and courageous hearts connecting.
"Hurting Holey Hearts" resonated with me. It's so true that grief can feel like a deep hole within us. And yet, we still breathe, eat, sleep, walk, work — with our hearts impaled. This speaks to the resilience of the human spirit, but also to the courage it takes to face such profound pain. It reminds me that true strength lies not in avoiding pain, but in allowing ourselves to feel it fully, to grieve openly and honestly. 🩵
Marisol, thank you. Your words feel so true, and wise. They remind me of some of my Buddhist heroes - Pema Chodron, Thich Nhat Hanh. Eyes open, minds open and nonetheless, hearts still open - courageous, solid, steadfast, strong, vulnerable - steadily beating until they're not. Your words are healing and help me remember that I too can ground with an open heart. I believe it is the only way to go through.
Marisol, your haiku and verse beautifully capture the full spectrum of emotions and experiences, inspiring reflection and resonating deeply with the heart's journey through joy, sorrow and healing. Thank you.
Thank you from my heart for your beautiful heart work. ♥️🧡💛🫰

Facing pain scares us.
‘Courage’ comes from ‘Heart’ in French.
Dr. Alex knows.
Lured hearts become lost.
Never too late to be found.
Return to center.
Craving and clinging.
Consuming circle, cycle.
Clinging and craving.
...
Core, community.
Centering, creative care.
Community, core.
