There is more in silence than in speech

More fullness in pondering than in the telling of it.

Thank you for this. Love, Virg

Silence and stillness,

in fact full, overflowing.

Emptiness there too?

In the dark tunnels,

they fall, they rise, they keep on.

Step by step by step.

...

In the deep muck, stuck,

they will lift each other up.

Rise, take one more step.

Oh Marisol, you capture so much here and so eloquently as always. I linger on each word, each concept, each photo. And I am grateful for the complexity you honor. Our universe is both more complex and more simple than we can ever know and somehow you inhabit that cohabitation with such ease.

I loved "We’re interpreters." Indeed we are, every day. Even to our own selves. Or maybe especially?

INCREDIBLY honored that you mentioned me. I will continue to read and appreciate your exquisite work with appreciation. ❤❤❤❤❤

Honored by your praise.

Encouraged by examples

of writings as yours.

Simpler, more complex,

our lenses, foggy mirrors.

Concave and convex.

...

Life interpreters,

may we not miss main meanings.

Lost in translation! 😊

I like this repeating theme of sound, Marisol. Beautiful imagery in these haiku.

Trying my amateur hand at haiku:

Truth clearly revealed"

Such a moving exploration of the many sounds of voice.

A whole choir of voices ~ pitch, timbre and tongues in tune ~ speaking in resonance to all languagers.

Thank you so much for the mention and link, Marisol xx

After unplugging for the past eight days, every verse and line resonated deeply. Thank you so much for sharing, Marisol. What I especially enjoyed was how you highlighted the importance of 'really' listening - not just to the world around us, but to those voices within.

This strikes a deep chord, one I’ll reflect on further once I get my holiday wash going! Through cadence, you invite your readers to contemplate, and it's here I find myself this morning soaking up the wisdom found in silence and moments when truth carries sound.

Deborah and Marisol, this chat made me smile! Holiday wash has so much symbolism. Soaking up the respite holidays provide while washing out the residue of the stress we sometimes bring into the holiday. Thanks to both of you for this Monday smile.
